hey guys i just replaced the radiator on my type r. now i have a roming idle from 1k to 2k, when the car warms up . new iac from acura, tried to bleed the system out, and cleaned the iac(even tho it was sparklin). i saw the iac had a set screw on it, and wanted to know if its adjustable...any comments would help, thanks

 

mine does this. I thought it was normal

 

mine was doing the same thing on monday checked the tps not the problem checked the distributor not the answer. there were also no codes and no check engine light. i dug a bit deeper and disconnected the charcoal canister and the choppy idle went away. i was having the same problem 1k to 2k idle roaming only when warm. i haven't checked the canister and vacuum lines for any leaks. but what ive figured out so far is no codes and roaming idle make sure you check for vacuum leaks.

 

mine will sit at ~700 ish and then go to 2k or 1k for a while. At a stop it goes down the 700ish and sounds like its banging back and forth.

 

is this cold only? Because mine does it for 5 min or so on cold start up.

 

it happens at running temp. i milked the upper hose for air bubbles and it helped some. im gonna try it again.

 

tryed to air it out again, no luck, jacked up the right and let it run(read in a thread to try that) no luck, changed out the iac for a 94 ls one, a big burp of air came out of the hose, installed it and problems gone...thanks guys!!!
