HELP rev limiting at 6600??
ok.. i have a euro b18c4.. ( no vtec pressure switch ).. and an american obd1 p72.. i plug it up today and hook up my afc.. and vtec kicks in but wont rev over like 6600 rpm.. i also have an ls distributer.. could this be why? or could it be that the ecu isnt picking up a vtec pressure sensor..(VTM) code.. cause there is no vtec pressure sensor on the euro engine.. it is throwing a code 22.. which is vtec pressure sensor or vtm.. im just wondering why it is doing this.. have any of yall had a similar problem before?? thanks.. chris

VTM = vtec pressure switch which you do not have but the ecu is looking for.
You need to hook up the vtm wire to the ecu. If your harness does not have this
wire, you must add it.
