ls vtec headstud thread
so everyone knows that you are supposed to use GSR headstuds when doing an lsvtec setup.
i put my last lsvtec setup together using b16 arp headstuds and had no problems. ive also found a few other people doing it.
i installed them just like any other time, with an allen key into the block, then put the head on and torque.
i was wondering if anyone here had actual dimensions of the gsr arp headstuds, i have my b16s right here and ill measure em up in a second.
im looking for overall length, and length of the bottom set of threads and top set of threads. thanks.

You match the headstud kit to the head your putting on the block.
GSR studs have 2 longer ones in the centre from what I can remember. Although it has been 5 or 6 years since I touched a gsr.

the gsr studs are longer that why you should use them for an lsvtec I've used the b16 studs in the past and they work but not if your useing a gsr head....
