what is the ideal offset for 18x8.5?

Default what is the ideal offset for 18x8.5?

i drive a 2008 tl type s (auto). thinking about getting some volk wheels. thanks.

the stock type-s wheels are 17x8 45 offset

i'd say around +30-35 will set you flush with the fender if i had to guess. try checking acurazine and see what people got on there.

the ideal offset can be suggested after you tell us what kind of look or performance settings you're going for. Are you looking to avoid rub issues or looking to face them with a grain of salt? What kind of drop does the TL have if any at all? What tire size do you plan on running?
