My GSR swap IS SLOWER THEN BEFORE?? Car sputters at start after letting sit
Okay so Ive noticed my track times this week were alot worse then before..
Before I had an GSR swap.. LS cable trans.. Blox intake manifold.. Comptech use header.. ran a 13.7 with a 2.23' 60 foot with shitty tires on HX wheels.
THEN: Swapped out the LS trans with a gsr HYDRO trans.. got the cable to hydro conversion.. I have 1mm wider then stock throttle body (str throttle body, wont make a difference i know.. looks nice though) I have new tires on the hx's now.. but CANT do better then a 14.4 with a 2.31' 60 foot.. Im losing power I guess??
After I let the car sit over night then go out in the morning to go to work.. start it up it sputters for a few seconds at low rpms.. after it warms up it goes away.. I cant seem to figure out what the problem is? There is NO smoke coming out of the exhaust..
I am running a P06 chipped tuned off CHROME.. vtec at 5300 but hits at 5800?? and 2 step is supposed to be at 4500 but hits at 5000? and my shift light which is the check engine light.. which is at 8200 has stopped coming on?? when I put a stock ecu in vtec hits at the right point on the tach.. but the car runs like **** with both ecu's
maybe I have more then one problem Im not sure.. would appreciate all the help I can get THANK YOU

Maybe you should either get it retune with a new ecu, or check on your current ecu, your current one might be bad.
yea but i can put the stock ecu in and it still runs like ****.. just even worse.. so im thinkin it sumthing besides the ecu..?
Are you throwing any codes? If the car is obd1, which it is I assume, jump the wires and tell us what code.
Is the GSR bone stock other than the str throttle body?

It is NOT throwing any codes.. should I jump it to see if it will? I dont think thats how it works though lol.. and it is obd1.. And It has a BLOX intake manifold and comptech USA header.. other then that its pretty stock.

do you have a cat. on your car still? check that, make sure it's not pluged. and just because your CEl isn't comming on doesn't mean you're not throwing a code. check to see if you have any codes and post here.
