lsvtec coolant problem
Recently completing my lsvtec one of the coolant lines is giving me an hard time. After some searching i found out that the thermostat case is different from the case on an gsr it's missing the nipple that accepts the hose from the ....water outlet cover ( relate to photo number one).... so after some head scratching i ran out an grabbed me a tee fitting to tie in this hose which has no home, (relate to photo two) problem here is that under power the water outlet hose releases way to much coolant and im worried it may screw with my idle or such. or should i order an gsr thermostat case (ive never heard of any one doing this mention swaping over there thermostat case lol help me plz




I had that same hose teed between the TB and IM line with a brass Tee....never leaked under high pressure or heat, even @ 10psi boost. Yours doesnt seem to have the same barb coming off your IM, so I'm guessing you have an OBD2 motor.
