Default CTR Vtec not working

i have a 92 CX hatch with a 00 JDM b16b CTR swap, its curently running on a p61 ECU from a 92-93 GSR b17a, since i have an obd2 JDM motor it doesnt have the vtec pressure switch and i know that i have to bypass it which im pretty sure i did the right way, because everytime i go to hit vtec i get the CEL and its number 21 for vtec selnoid, what am i doing wrong? how am is the right way to bypass it and how do i know if my vtec selnoid is good or not or clogged or jammed or what not? help me out

your going to need the switch unless you are going to run a jdm b16 ecu like i am doing.
i have a b16b in my 92 si hatchback and my vtec didnt work so i just put on a usdm b16 vtec solonide and ran it with a gsr ecu then i got a jdm b16 ecu

To bypass the VTEC pressure switch what you can do is, find the wire from the ECU that's supposed to go into the VTEC pressure switch and wire that into the VTEC solenoid wire.

I know if I can wire in my switch (because I dont have the plug that hooks to the oil switch ) Im going to soldier it or do what IamTheFollower said to do. Have you tried it that way? Does hooking your Switch wire to the Vtec solenoid Does that work and take off the CEL light?

it took off the light for the pressure switch, but not for the vtec solnoid, im gonna test my solnoid i havent done it yet 12v to the solnoid to hear it click or not, and does the VSS have anything to do with it? people are saying that it checks the speed to the cluster and back to the ecu, and i have a JDM SiR II cluster in kilometers does that have anything to do with it? or check the pins into the ECU or the knock sensor wire since the CX didnt have that wire i just added it into the harness without a pin maybe it needs a pin to be clamped? i dont have a code for the knock sensor tho cuz its getttin a signal, prob not to good of a signal with 3 lil strands touching tho?
