Hi! i have a 91 Accord With a 2.2L and a manual transmission. i'm having accereation issues! the car idles Great(hot or cold about 700-1000 RPM) when its cold its accelerates just fine. But as the engine reaches operating temp it boggs down really bad. As soon as i press on the gas it starts out really slow and boggs down, it takes about 5 second for it to reach redline...(in netural) but after 2500-3000 RPM the car pulls nicely (as if nothings wrong) its really bugging me... i've replaced the spark plugs with NGK type and i've replaced my fuel filter! and those did nothing for me! and recently have been having issues with starting.. alot of misfiring and backfiring.. mabey related to the above problem??? its been like this for about a week now and i dont know whats wrong Please Help me if you can... Thanks!!

 

You probably need to clean the EGR ports.

 

ok i'll check it out! Thanks for the reply. anything else you can think of.. mabey the timing is out? or a bad map sensor? Etc.
