I just bought a 97 b18c1 motor for a grand.. Wiring was more tangled than Bob Marley's hair! I noticed after I got home the exhaust manifold only had one O2 sensor, meaning it is an obd1 manifold. The guy kept assuring me the motor is obd1, but all b18c motors are obd2 right? I think the guy switched the manifold so he would not have to run a conversion from obd2 to obd1 harness to the ecu.. would this run just the same as if you had the obd2 manifold and harness?

Any tips about conversion from auto to manual would be helpful.

Another question.. There are some nice cam gears, looks just like skunk2 gears, but they are not. I do not know if there are aftermarket cams in the motor.. how would I find out, The lobes are not really fat, maybe medium to big size.. Is there any way to find out what kind or they are aftermarket cams?

nope, not all the b18c motor are obd2, it could be a jdm gsr or either a jdm type r.
