Right now i have a 98 civic ex with the d16y8 a few months back i bought a d16a6 that was sittin in a machine shop down the street had bottom end rebuild with JE low compression pistons and stock rods will be getting eagle rods soon cause ive done some reading that block needs to be shaved a little for rod clearance so thats why i think the stock rods were reinstalled, head has also been rebuild new valves and springs retainers not sure if aftertmarket or not and cam also has a AEM cam gear on it. Now for my questions what is need to do the swap will the tranny i have in currently work or do i need a different one? Also do i need to change the ecu? Any one that reads this and has done a d16 build with boost would like to see your setup, i havent bought my intake manifold, intercooler, turbo manifold or clutch or a program to tune with and not really sure on which way to go? Would like any input or tips thx
