cost for a dealer rebuild? probably close if not over a grand. Maybe more but it really won't be cheap. Dealer mechanics arn't automatically better than regular ones, I've known plenty of Ford mechanics who wern't even worth the phone call and price quote. Find a mechanic who will gurantee his work so then next month if it breaks you take it back and he fixes it free

I'd say just get a swap. The dealer would not be cheap. It'll probably save you money in the long run. Better than dumping money into a POS engine that keeps breaking down on you.

hmotorsonline > paying for a rebuild. I'd trust a motor assembled by Honda over 99% of shops any day.

What year Integra? Either way, dealer rebuild (or any rebuild) is gonna cost well over a grand...especially if you have the trans done w/ it as well. Just buy a "new" swap and call it a day.

get a swap, dealer rebuild will end up being the cost of a nice swap....a nice jdm gsr swap on hmotors goes for like 3k and its goin to have like 35k miles on it where its prob goin to cost more then that from a dealer rebuild and it wont be as nice performance wise as a nice jdm gsr.....wat do u have any way gsr or ls?

most dealerships will just toss in a shortblock instead of rebuilding the old one...shortblock and labor alone will cost a pretty penny

I would say just find a shop not dealer to do it there is always a good tuning shop that does engine builds and will rebuild one

both ways he is still going to be paying the same price for both things. i'd just go with a swap since you'll have your car back within a couple days and its just a direct bolt on. on the the other hand, a rebuild will have you carless for a while but in the end your engine will be at top notch condition.
