Can you add the components to an ECU board to support wideband? IE: VX OEM wideband
Just curious if anyone else has done this? I am wondering if it's possible to just add the components to the circuit board of say a P28 or P72 so that you could use the VX OEM wideband sensor? Yes, I know I can use my Innovate LC1 but that is not what I'm asking. I want to add parts to the factory board in the factory locations to utilize the OEM VX wideband sensor.
Besides just doing the hardware side of this, what is required when burning a chip to completely support this? Has anyone done this at all or is it just too much work?
The reason I ask is Honda seems to be pretty good at leaving the spots to add just about anything. IE: you can add knock board to P28, you can add VTEC to a P05 and P06, etc.
