Default help, ignition timing off after cam seal replacement

alright so after replacing my cam seal my ignition timing is off (2 degrees advanced) according to my timing light. i marked my distributor before removing it and set it back to where it was marked. when i installed the timing belt the cam gears where lined up and the crank pulley was lined up with the timing cover but i did notice a small amount of play where the crank pulley turns a little before the cams do. the reason for my concearn is that the car is tuned on s300 and i dont want to throw off my timing maps.
so i retarded the distibutor back 2 degrees to 16 at idle(where it was tuned) and am hoping everything will be all right. will it?
