Read some more and learn what actual compressor surge is. This is not hurting anything.

So that fluttering noise is not going to damage the turbo? Im only runing off the wastegate 8psi t3/t4 50trim.. but every where i researched everyone says different things.. like it flutters wen it cant get rid of the pressure fast enough and it finds its way out through the compresor housing of the turbo and it can cause damage in the long run...I just want to kno if im going to need a new bov or is there a solution to this

IIRC a reputable turbo guy (dont remember where I read it) said that its not a big deal unless you boostin over 13-15psi.

Although you bov might be setup wrong for your car. Did u ever check the vacuum and compare it to find the correct spring?

wowowow it is a big deal its the air coming back into the comp housing and making the comp wheel go the wrong way and then u have the exhaust trying to push it the right way witch i have seen turbos brake from this. think about it

Some flutter is going to occur regardless, especially if its only seeing a psi or 2 of boost. The BOV has to react as quickly as possible, so some flutter will exist. There is a difference b/w flutter and compressor surge.

Stop worrying.. drive the car.

when i had an apexi bov, it did the same thing. Once i hooked it up to a direct vacuum source, then it would make a nice wooosh at full throttle/boost lifts, and when just baybing it, small boost, it would make the flutter sound. When, i had it t'd though, it would make the flutter all the time. I was boosting 15 psi, for the record.
