Default Idle Problems....please HELP!

Ok so last night we installed a set of comp cams stage 2, along with a set of Adjustable cam gears, new water pump and a Gates timing belt everything went Smooth except the car does NOT want to Idle we torque everything to specs and adjusted the valves for the new cams. the only way the car will idle is but keeping the foot on the gas or adjusting the throtle cable. Has anyone had any problems with aftermarket cams?

This is my set up:
B16a2
Hytech exhaust 4 to 1
Skunk2 intake manifold
Skunk2 68mm T/B
AEM CAI
2 1/2" full cat back

Your cam timing/timing belt is probably off. (I have seen Gates timing belts be defective).

Another thing to consider is the fact that your engine management must be tuned properly for the new cam setup.

I don't know much about Comp Cams stage 2's, but if they have profiles similar to the Skunk2 Tuner 2's, Blox B's, Jun 3's...etc, they should idle good even without tuning. You are most likely off 1 tooth on your timing belt.

However, don't expect the car to drive well or make any more power than stock until you tune it.

Get some Skunk2 Pro series, they are the lightest on the market. I have been running them for 25k miles now with no issues.

How can the cam gears be bad? Who made them?
