I screwed up my ignition! help!!!
90 crx si, starter wouldnt engage. i was able to pop the clutch to start it no prob. Did lots of trouble shooting, i had accidently sparked the ignition switch wires in the process.
Starter tested good and found it was the clutch switch the whole time!
Starter turns over now but the new problem now is no spark. Its throwing a code 15 10 and 6. Code15 is ignition issue where most folks change the dizzy (done that and nothing) 10 is intake temp sensor and 6 is temp sensor which i know are good and dont think would cause a no spark issue. Have i shorted the ignition system?

Hey there, I'm not sure if this can help but...
First you got to know if there's current running on your system.
if the engine runs after a quick jump-start,then it means that current is where it should be.
you need to know if the switch where you stick your key in is in good working condition.

if current is present on the lines, you just need to be sure that the starter is working.
if all else is A-ok, now you need to know there is current going to the high tension wire.

Starter tested good @ pepboys and plugs are good... Went back to basics and did more in depth checking of the wire harness. Had already verified the grounding. I found the wiring plug at the harness junction by the under-hood fuse box. The smaller of the 3. There were couple frayed wires and dirt in that plug.
Think i ought to get a whole new harness to prevent dumbness like this from happening again! Thanks gearbacs!
