My friends grandpa has a little autobody shop and he is going to be doing my quarter panel replacement for me, what do you think the cost will be? I already have the old one cut out and the new one ready to put on, i just need it welding and smoothed out.

i say you weld it on yourself and smooth it out yourself = FREE! (minus cost supplies)

 

my welder is to cheap and shitty.

 

Realistically, it's 10-12 hours per side. You're probably looking at AT LEAST $2500, but I'd say $3000 is a safe bet.

If you need new inner quarters, tack on another 5-6 hours per side. If you need new wheel well arches, welding in new ones will take several hours per side.

Cliffs: Not cheap

It's the correct way to fix it though.

 

i dont think that it would be at 3k really depends ont he area. i would think about 1600-2000. i myself dont like to weld on rear 1/4s anymore....i use glue now so much easier then welding leschance to warp a panel and burn through on the panel
