hey ppl. My girlfriend wreaked her 95 ej and bought another 95 ej and the windows wont role down. All the fuses are fine the relay is good and we have power to the mirror,but the windows dont work. We just swapped both doors that we know work and put them on tonight and still nothing? The sunroof works. Thanks in advance everyone.

 

dose the motor make sound when you try to row it up if not your regulator might be bad

 

nope no sound we tested the doors before we put them on and the both rolled down. We put them on the new car and we got nothing.

 

did you guys make sure all the plugs were connected right? my 4 door gsr was doing the samething and it ended up being that the plug that connects to the door was loose.

 

Everything is tight but i tested the wires with the thing the you ground to the body and tounch some of the connectors and if it has power it lights up. Some spots had power but alot of it didnt.

 

Anyone?

then your wiring is bad . and need to replace it .

 

This question is not being answered because people probably think you haven't done enough of your homework. However, I do enjoy troubleshooting electrical problems. But first, download the service manual here, and turn to page 23-225 (pg 1163) and follow the troubleshooting matrix.

Post back here if you're still having problems, or if you did resolve it.

 

You could have power goin to motor but if no voltage going back to ground, then you could have an open in the wiring back to the battery
