h22 in my civic ex

Default h22 in my civic ex

what do i need to change on my civic for an h22 motor in it. i know i need ecu wiring harness and motor mounts.
do i need new cv axles

and will an exhaust system from a hatch to a coupe
any answer would be great

yes you need axles, hasport sells them for 180 each i believe. the spines on the prelude motor need to match the smaller spindle, which is why you need custom or accord intermediat shaft with integra cv i think

Be careful if you are heavy on the pedal and short in the cash....

I am not sure how these h22 swaps are going, but I owned a prelude with the same motor and got the gas mileage of a large pickup truck. Does anyone know the gas mileage on these swaps, seeing how it is in fact a much lighter car?

The gas mileage really isn't that much better, even in the lighter chassis. But it is kind of nice to have the option to put in a longer geared F-series transmission, to help a little bit. My friend with a H22A Civic actually prefers the F-series transmission he has in there now.

k so the civic hatch that i bought with the h22 in it will swap right out then
i can just change everything over then
k now what about the exhaust will that fit on my coupe

we sell swap axles that work with our mount kits
$299 for the set of axles and you use a prelude intermediate shaft with them

well another case i dont know if the h22 transmition is hydrolic or cable
so if it is cable how hard is it to change my car to cable clutch

its not a cable clutch.. its hydro and its cable linkage
the only thing you gotta do is get the accord/prelude shifter into the civic (they may make kits but i dont do H series in civics)
