jrsc help. just bought missing peices
ok i have a obd1 d16y8 converted. and i got a jrsc for the sohc v,
-how can i tell what the kit needs or what engine its for
-i mounted it on and its working but need some help on the vaccum line routing
- i got the evap lines before the sc, and the rest after. is that right?
- ive searched the forums but no how there so thats why im posting now
- i know im missing the relay for the ta (at sensor)
- i think the housing of the fmu is leaking, what rate is it 12 to1?
- is there a fix for not having the at sensor
- ans also when warmed up it tends to jurk or sputter right on light throttle
thanks for any help i can get.

Make sure you have the map sensor moved after the throttle body so the ecu can see the boost. It's not hard just block off the old mount location and run the vac line to a port on the backside of the JR manifold. I had same issues with ruff motor untill I fixed this. I left my evap unplugged so I can't help you there. They say the JR FMU is crap and I don't have one. You can put in bigger fuel injectors and get a P28 ecu and have it chipped and tuned for the setup. Then you can ditch that FMU. Also a commen mistake is crossing the connectors of the map and tps sensors so make sure you check/test it. Good Luck man!

Re: jrsc help. just bought missing peices
well i got a chip for a stock p28 by dinan, and i got rid of the fmu and got a regulator style, but im running 60 at idle and 70 at wot. can afford a ecu or injectors yet. it ran better. but does a stock ecu handle well if you show it boost? i thought that it would freak out. thanks for the help.
