custom guages
need help
i have custom indiglow guages that i followed the wiring instruction, tapped the red wire with the red/blk from the guage this so that i can use the light switch to turn it on, but there are time when i turn the switch it doesn't turn on, then i do it slowly and it goes on????
what to do???

Replace that messed up switch .. oh what you cant its not like an ordinary hard plastic type of switch.. its like a button thing you press.. you can try and replace it ..
now my .02 :
Why would you want them ?
1 With time the tape will wear out and the gauge faces will stick out and hit the tach .
2 when you decide to get rid of them you will find out you ruined your cluster with nasty glue residue ..
3 The eerie blue/greenish glow makes drivers sleepy..

I agree, to be honest, when I first bought my Integra, I was young and didn't know any better. I remember paying someone $100.00 to install me the interglow gauges, and that same night driving home, I tooked them off and swore to never do something stupid like that before. This is dating back to 2000.
I'm also guilty of the RICE gauge faces that light up the super cool blue and green lol, years ago.
I actually only got them because I wanted white-faced gauges, and never even hooked power to the switch.
