help-fuel cutoff switch problem
hey i decided to do a fuel cutoff switch yesterday and i got it all wired up and tried it out. everytime i turn the switch off and then back on it blows a fuse. can someone tell me whats goin on.
Make sure you have the right kind of switch. I think it was a 25A switch that you should use. Also make sure your wires aren't shorting out where you cut it.
I just did this too with no probs. Yeah you have the right switch. I taped up my slices in black electrical tape after I did it. I didn't solder them though on the switch. I wrapped them around really tight about 7 times. But with 18 gauge wire, they aren't going to move. Also taped them really tight too.. good luck its a nice thing to have.
