Default AEM EMS 1050 Civic 99 startup issues

Hi

This is not my first AEM EMS install, I have done a few Evo's and Eclipses

But this is my first Honda with AEM EMS
The issue that I am having is getting a friends Civic to startup.
We get it up and running after cranking for quite a while but it is really hard to get it running.

After we get it to start properly it runs fine

The car has a
B20
RC 750cc high imp injectors
AEM 3,5 bar map sensor
Original Honda civic AIT sensor
Original ignition

I have been playing with the engine startup and advanced engine startup tables without any luck

any help really appreciated

regards
Gudmundur

u running an injector driver? if so whic one?

the reson I ask is I had the same issue with an s2K and aem, almost felt like you had to "prime" the motor a few times before it would start.

found that the injector driver got power when you first keyed it over and in the run position but not in the cranking position, kinda weird. swapped power sources to a steady source and it was all good

Does stat sync turn on quickly after cranking? Did you log your T2PER signals?

Make sure your ECU parameters are set before too, Throttle range, and Ignition also.
