i was wondering if it could be my EGR valve. i mean it only idles when its warm up and its throwing a 12 on the cel. could that be it?

its a 93 si.

Im not sure if it would cause a cel but i know it will cause a idle problem. Check your pcv valve.

Yes, that's the PCV valve.

What is it that it idles low until it warms up??? If so I'm having the same problem, I dont have my pcv conected, can this be the problem??? Im going to try to connect it and if it works I'll let you know. BTW I have a B16A2

Yes, code 12 for a fault in the EGR system can cause a rough idle. Definitely fix that code.

Also clean the FITV on the throttle body.

FITV is Fast Idle Thermo Valve. You remove it, open it up, and clean it with Carborator Cleaner. It can also be adjusted but that's if you have a hunting idle (reving up then down then up again and so on).

IAC is a code 14, do you have both codes? you can try to clean the EGR, but would probably be better to replace it
