going boost best option?

Default going boost best option?

I have a 91 rex si right now a6 motor but just picked up full built z6 head.. i wanna know the best combo for boost...i want it to be a dd but want to put out 300hp..already have vitara pistons for block...INPUT PLEASE

Better get some eagle or pauwter rods, as well as arp rod bolts and head studs.

thats a good start there. don't forget fuel injectors. you can use eclipse/talon turbo injectors. they are 450 cc. there is a thread in the forced induction forum for turbo sohcs. you could go there and check out everyone's set up and decide what you would like to do. also having a set budget in mind would help too.

sorry failed to mention i already have rods also..my porblem is deciding what block to use...i have an a6 right now w/the z6 built head is that a good combo for boost before i go any further

that block will do just fine for a build. the z6 blocks, from what i've seen are actually the block of choice. i've got a friend that puts 450 hp to the ground using a z6 block, fully built of course.
