so i would like to thank everyone for there help first of all. so a couple of days ago i popped the hood and it tried to close it but it wouldnt close. it clicks down but it wouldnt lock. i noticed that the cable wasnt aligned with the latch. so i just zip tied it down. then yesterday when i went to drive it i tried closing the hood again and it closed all the way. but now i can not open the hood and not wit the lever either cuz the cable is not aligned wit the latch. has anyone done this b4? i saw a thread on here but i tried with a screw driver and couldnt get it.

 

get under the car, stick your hand up there and unlock it

 

Or if you jack the front of your car way up in the air you can get to the two 10mm bolts that holds the latch assembly on.
