Another disc brake thread!?
I'm currently piecing together everything I need for a front/rear disc brake swap on my 95 DX hatch. The problem I'm having is in every thread I've come across there are 5 people saying a certain part works, and 5 more saying it doesn't. I'm looking for some definitive information on which parts I need from someone that has done the swap themselves. I don't want to hear from people that know from past threads, or helped a buddy do the swap. If you own a 92-95 hatchback and have done this swap I'd appreciate hearing from you.
So far I've figured out that I need the front spindles and rear trailing arms (/w calipers, brackets, rotors, lines) from any 94-01 Integra. It's the whole master cylinder, brake booster, prop valve issue I'm having trouble with. I do not want to have to bend or reflare lines. I want a plug-n-play solution.
Which parts do I need? Please be specific as possible (Year, model, part number)
I've heard the 91 4 Door EX MC will bolt right up to my stock brake booster and is a 15/16. Is this correct? Is there any difference between it and the one from the Integra?
I've heard if I get an Integra MC I should get the one off the RS model (Non-ABS) including the brake booster. Will I have to bend and reflare lines?
Which prop valve will bolt right up? Will the one from the 95 Si work?
Whew, sorry for the novel but I'm absolutely sick of wading through information only to have someone contradict it 2 posts later.

Re: Another disc brake thread!?
if you are looking to "upgrade" the size of your discs then the integra would be the way to go. i did a disc swap on mine (just rears) and used the setup off of a 94 si, as well as the MC off the same year car. i didn't swap over anything brake booster related or prop valve for that matter.

The 91 4 door ex m/c will bolt right up without modifying any lines as far as prop valve i'm not exactly sure since I have an si to begin with i already had the prop valve so one from a 95 si should just bolt up just fine. Mine is a 93 but nothing changed between the years I don't think. Hope this helped.

Yes, the mounting flange is 90 degrees different than the Integra version (which is why, or at least partly why you need to use an Integra master cylinder with an Integra booster, the Integra booster is also deeper)
For the record I have personally done an Integra front brake swap on a '92 Si hatch using parts from a '95 Non-ABS Integra, including the master cylinder, brake booster, proporting valve, front knuckles, calipers and flex lines. Everything was a direct bolt on. I also personally pulled the parts from the donor car so I can in fact confirm that they did in fact come from a '95 Integra. I have not used a '91 EX master cylinder before, but I have absolutely no doubt that it works, B18C5-EH2 originally posted confirmation on it something like 8 years ago after trying it on a customers car at his shop.

Finally some concrete information. I cannot thank you guys enough. I know I need to use a different e-brake cable as well. Should I get an Integra cable or a 92-95 Si cable?

Thank god man. Funny how I found my answer in the EG thread when I'm trying to do a brake upgrade on a 91 civic lol. Been searching high and low for which 15/16 MC fits the 91 EX booster. I had a 15/16 MC from pep boys that didn't fit my EX booster and I was a bit confused cause people told me that's what it runs stock. You are a lifesaver lol.

Re: Another disc brake thread!?
While everyone is on this topic and the OP got his answer ill go ahead and ask my question. Well i took my rear drums off and the shoes and all are good and fat but the e brake dont work at all. if i jack up the rear and pull the e brake the right side tire will be hard to turn and the drivers side wheel moves easily. Also If i pull my ebrake while im driving my brake dont feel soggy anymore. its like i bled my brakes. if i put it back down the pedal goes far down till it stops. today i adjusted the e brake cable and now the brake pedal feels good but e brake still only works on one tire half ***.
what is my problem?
