B18C5 Crank Sensor? GSR ECU problem
Alright so here is the problem when i hit vtec my car start to feel like its way off timing and doesn't wanna go. So what i did was connect a crank sensor, the crank sensor has two wire coming out of it, so what i did was connect the two wires together and ran it straight to the ECU. i connect it to the B16 pinout on the ecu when i did this it still did the same thing. any ideas?
and do you think this can be caused from bad tuning because the GSR ECU has a s100 hondata on it and was tune for a supercharged GSR motor, my motor is just all motor no supercharge... do you guys think if i just get a s300 hondata instead and tune it this can correct the problem?

if you issue is at wide open throttle and it boggs like crazy then you probably are getting to much fuel seeing it a tune for a forced induction car

If your B18c5 is stock, find a virgin ITR ecu or load an OEM p73 basemap to the s100. If you have supporting mods, get it professionally tuned on the dyno. S100 or S300 will work just fine, consult your tuner for advice.
You can not just use an ECU or Map that is tuned for another setup, on yours. Even if the parts list between cars is identical, I still wouldn't recommend it. There's always going to be variance, every engine is different.

STOP right now. You have a calibration tuned for a supercharger and you are running it on an NA engine. Get a new basemap for an NA engine or get it properly tuned on the dyno.
