ECM/TCU problem?
So I park on a hill the other day and my heater core was leaking coolant already. It flooded the passenger side about 6 inches up towards the ecu. When I tried to start the car, I can hear knocking sound in the shifter as if it's trying to get into gear.
1. So is my ECU computer toasted?
2. How do I check if it's still working?
3. Are they expensive to replace?
4. Will junkyards have these parts?
5. How do I replace it if it's toasted?

- Replacing is very easy, buy from a junkyard for <$100
- Dealer CANNOT test, I found this out when my ECM was acting up.
- Before the replacement ECM will work you will need to have it programmed for your keys.
I don't know if the ECM is the cause of your problem though, you'll have to do some troubleshooting and figure it out.
