clutch alighment HELP!
IMO your going to have to pull the tranny and see what's going on.
You say alignment...If it wasn't aligned you couldn't get the tranny on.

checking the alignment isn't that hard at all as long as you have an alignment tool. it's the dropping of the tranny out the car that's gonna be a bitch for if that's all you had to do. i made sure to check it just before i did my swap. axles could be another reason. spindle not catching on diff

Yes, when you snap an axle the car will not move but it will go in gear.
When the axle pop's out of the dif, it will not move.
From my experience it's mostly the passenger side axle.
Like RunninEg6 said, if you have to, take a 2X4 (block of wood) and a 3 or 5lbs hammer, jack the car up from the lower control arm, keeping the axle level, put the block of wood over the axle nut and give it a wack. That should seat the axle in the dif, as long as you didn't snap the dif end of the axle.
Were these OEM axles or replacement ?
