Damn, this is my situation.
Making about 350whp. Trap speed is always about 115 mph. Times are never better than low 13 seconds. The Trap speed should be good to bring me in the low 12 or even high 11 what I heard of you guys.
I use 225/45/16 Street tires Good Year Eagle F1 Gsd2. Now I tried BFG Gforce DRAG radial 225/50/15 but had major spinning problems, so I was not able to get better times than with street tires. I use Apexi AVCR to bring the boost down in 1st and 2nd gear, so it is easy to launch, but can't turn the boost up with the BFGs than with the street tires. 1st gear 0.6 Bar, 2nd gear 0.8 Bar, 3rd and 4th 1.2 Bar. Anything higher and my tires are spinning.
We have no burn out boxes with water and our DRAG strips are normal streights with usual asphalt and not the sticky kind of covering you US guys have. Should I bring water in a bottle next time to a DRAG race and make my own water burn out? A local guy said, the DRAG tires are not better than street tires until they get heated up.
We are 500 meters above sealevel too.

You definitely need to heat them up. If they allow it, bring your own water.
Probably need a few bottles though, probably a few liters on each side.
Or else, full slicks are pretty good.

Thas good time with street tires, ur thinking 115MPH trap speed low 12,high 11 was with people with slicks on. No way will u get those times with street tires.
i used bf drag radials and my best time was 13.2 @112.3 mph. launch at 10 psi and hit 15 psi in 2nd gear. now i have dss stage 3 axles and 24" m/t slicks. and running 22 psi. hope to hit low low 12's or high 11's.
