D-series turbo ring gap???
take your bore in inches and multiply that by .006 for example 81.5mm bored gsr would be converted into 3.2087 inches now multiply that by .006 and the end result is .01922. so that would be your top ring gap and bottom ring gap should be another .002-.003 so that would make the second ring gaps .023 ish
Personally i like a little loose on ring gaps. better to burn a little oil than gall a cylinder wall. What does the specs say for the rings/pistons

i just bought the piston ring filer...hopefully i can finish this up by the weekend! so .020 for the first ring and .023 for the 2nd ring!!! ONE MORE NEWBIE QUESTION SORRY GUYS...whats the purpose of the ring gap?
the purpose of ring gaps is al metals expand and contract with temp. if you had to little ring gap for boosted application aka more heat then the ring ends would but up against one another and gall into the cylinder wall and cause all sorts of issues
