Which ECU?
Hi, Im kinda new to this forum but Id like to know if any of these ECU's swap directly over to a 95 Vtec Prelude? I plan on getting the Hondata chip and these are the ECU's they have for their kits: P72,P28,P30,P61,P08J,P30J,P72J Which would be a direct swap for the H22A Vtec motor?

Knock sensor capability is mostly useless, but if you're running an N/A motor the IAB control might be something you want.
just a bit of knowledge i've picked up from local 4th gen prelude owners. i had the same question about which ecu to use and all have told me that through their experience the p28 worked really well for what they were looking for.
and to answer coryfeyton: yes the prelude ecu was OBD1 until the 5th gen came out in 97. but the general rule (not always of course) is that most cars older than 96 are OBD1.

ok kool thanks guys. I plan on goin for a high hp/tq build so i guess either the P28, or P72 would be good. I also plan on putting in the Hondata system so hopefully this will all work out. Thanks : )
p28 is what most h22 owners use (that i've dealt with anyway)
the only issue with it is like stated before, no IAB control. But, IAB's can be hooked up by other means if necessary.. or if u run an aftermarket I.M. then IABs are no longer an issue.
