Default Rear windows ALL the way down?

I noticed something today when i rolled down my rear windows in my EG sedan, they stop halfway! Now, ive always known this but just now i wondered if anyone out there has done anything to the tracking in the rear door to make them roll all the way down. Does anyones know how to do it? Has it been done yet? Just wondering before i tear apart my doors

the doors are prolly too small for the whole glass to fit in it.

They are. I looked into this myself years ago, the opening for the rear wheels mean the the glass can only go down till the begining of the wheel opening, there isn't really anything you can do about it.

That's the dumbest idea I have ever heard. Your Civic is not the only car that does that. Many do.

Wow, This never bothered me, But it would be nice to have them go all the way down. and i am sure their is a way to do it but takes a lot of fabricating. i think Honda does this for Child Safety because all new cars do this also and 4 door trucks.

I also have a EG Sedan But i love it! I dont like the EG Coupes.

read bro, you can't do it. It's not even possible, unless you somehow come up with a technique for folding a glass window inside of the door. lol

Yeah, back in the mid to late 80s, the Us Gov in its infinite wisdom, decided that too many kids were falling out of the back window (I never heard it happening, but whatever) so they made all the auto co's have their windows only roll part way down.

Feel lucky, my Grandma's car ('85 Olds) didn't even roll down at all, and had just a 3" vent window.

My buddy had a early 90s accord sedan and the back windows went all the way down. I forgot what year the car was, but it was the boxy style. Dont EF sedans go all the way down?
