Fuel line question.
I'm attempting to replace the stock fuel line from the rail to the filter with a braided line. I know that russell's sells the pre-made kit, but it still retains the banjo fittings. Is it possible to get rid of the banjo fittings and use "straight" converters from lets say 12x1.25 to -6AN? In other words, can I thread in a straight piece into the fuel filter & fuel rail directly and then attach 90 degree bend fittings with a braided hose?
okay so I found out that the fuel rail takes a fitting of 12mm x 1.25 which is great as there's a fitting for 12mm x 1.25 to - 6 AN, although quite expensive @ $21.
Now, I know the fuel filter takes a 12mm thread, can anyone confirm the pitch?
