I have a cracked 1997 CX D16Y7 exhaust manifold. I am either goign to weld it, buy a used one or if anyone knows how to get passed the damn OBD2 dual oxy sensor crap so i can install a header, please feel free to tell me. I'll take all ideas, and if any of you out there have an exhaust manifold from a 1996-2000 CX/DX/LX that has th cat built into it on front of the engine, cast iron I wanna buy it!!! I prefer under 70,000 miles to be on it, but whichever I will consider. PLEASE HURRY, I need this done within a few days!

 

i had a muffler shop weld a adpter for the lower O2 right behind the cat. ...this isnt legal in calif. and some shops wont do it..but do keep ur old manifold and repair it in the mean time and use it to smog if u have to in the future ..another thing, ull need a new cat. too

 

If you have less than 150,000 miles on it, take it to a Honda dealer. They should replace it for no charge under the emmision warranty extension on that car.
