Default turbo intercooler pipe inlet possition

On my turbo set up the intercooler piping inlet is faceing at a akward angle, is there anyway I could reposition the housing so it faces down?

Yeah, loosen the bolts on the compressor housing, turn the housing to the desired angle, and retighten the bolts in a criss cross pattern. I don't believe there is a tq spec for the bolts, most people just tighten them up snug.

I was just tightening the bolts up on mine and broke one off. Didn't really put much into it and the head sheared right off.

Shouldn't affect anything running like that for a while right?

Hmm, I've never ran, used, or played around with an internally gated turbo before, there is always the option of welding an elbow to the housing.
