Default 98 ej6 w/GSR now no start

So I went to the drag strip last night and after several passes i left and came home. Stopped to get gas and when I went to start the car again the starter made a tink tink tink sound when it was turning over but still started the car. Car ran normally all the way except for the starter noise.

This morning I go out to start the car, turn the ignition and NOTHING. No noise, no tick, battery has good charge and no sound whatsoever when I try to turn it over. Any ideas on what I should check would be appreciated.

i would check the starter. it seems as if it were going to go out at first but the second morning you won't so luck.. cause the starter is the initial noise you hear. "tick tick tick"

no no, the tink tink tink was when i started it after getting gas last night and then this morning no sound whatsoever when i try to start it. I'm going to have to take the starter off anyway to see if there are any teeth left on the flywheel.
