93 cx squealing
Got a question for the Honda guys out there:
My dad's 93 Civic Cx (hatchback) has just started "squealing" when below 30mph or so. He says it gets exaggerated when turning, but is definitely present when the wheels are straight. Could this be a sign of bad bearings? The car has 115K or so on the odometer, so I guess it could be time to change them. If that could be it, how easy would it be to change them if I've never done it before?
Any help would be appreciated
PS. Car has no power steering.

If you thinks its the suspension most likely its a wheel bearing which can be a pain, they are pressed in so you would have to buy the bearing and have a machine shop press it in.
As for brake pad indicators your didnt come with them.

i have yet to hear a wheel bearing squeek.. they growl or gurgle at speed and the pitch is there from 0-100 mph. a front bearing will change pitch while turning left or right from the load.
check brakes
