Default CTR/ITR cams vs SI Cams

I'm trying to understand the differences between these 3 camshafts. So after searching and reading threads this is what I have come up with - someone correct me if I am wrong:

1) 00-01 ITR cams are more aggressive than earlier years (97-99)
2) CTR cams are slightly more aggressive than ITR cams
3) Exhaust cams for all three are pretty much the same and you won't see much of a difference if you interchange them
4) If upgrading to ITR or CTR cams, I will need to get ITR/CTR valve springs (ITR & CTR valve springs are the same)

Engine is a b16

The more information the better

2. It depends on the years. 00-01 ITR cams are the same as CTRs but the older ones are slightly smaller.

00-01 itr cams(intake/exhaust) are the same as ctr cams
96-98 itr cams are less aggressive by like .3 duration or something like that

to the op,
exhaust cams are different. i suggest getting both itr/ctr cams for the best combo. also you dont have to upgrade cams, just dont be revving to 8400 all day...

i currently have 00 itr cams in my gsr. pulls really hard at 6000rpm but shift at stock redline(8200) cuz i'm using stock gsr valve springs. which the intake side are dual valvesprings but not the exhaust springs.

I'm guessing you mean I don't have to upgrade my springs? If I do get springs should i get new ones, i have heard it's not a good idea to get used valve springs - this true?

Thanks for the info hmoobhero
