Honda Bond on Valve Cover Gasket?
was reading through some archived posts trying to figure out my vtec solenoid/gasket leak and i saw this.. ive never done put hondabond on the valve cover gasket corners, should i have been?
Is this related to the S2000? If so then no RTV needs to be on the VC gasket.
If you are talking about a B-series motor then yes the FSM says to put it on the corners. You can use any RTV gray though, it doesn't have to be hondabond.

do not use it on the VC... it doesnt call for it so then dont do it... I didnt use any on mine when i had my VC powdercoated... just torque correctly and check for any leaks...
