Snapped the head off an LCA bolt.....

Time to get out the drill buddy. First use a 3/16" drill bit as a pilot and drill all the way through then use whatever size bit will fit through that hole and have fun.
So then, rethreading the welded nut on the other side is necessary?
I was thinking cutting the welded nut off completely and when reinstalling a new bolt, just getting a new nut and washer.

That'll work. I rather drill through the already damaged part instead of cutting **** off but it'll work. If you do it carefully you coudl get away without damaging the threads. Use a bit that's like 1 mil smaller than the bolt and it could pick up the bolt and remove it as a skin if you're perfectly center.
Meh happens all the time.
Take a saws all and cut as close to the control arm as possible then pull the control arm out and then the piece left out of the nut should be 1/4" and more.get a torch and heat the crap out of the nut and vise grip it in and out till it comes out.

You can drive it like that if you really need to, but you should fix it as soon as possible.
Think about it, if the bolt has never backed itself out before, it's sure as hell not going to now, especially when the bolt head broke off due to the bolt being all seized up in there.

Straight out the LCA bushing is junk now. Cut both side of the bushing remove LCA then drill or heat and take out threaded piece of bolt then replace the bushing in the LCA and put new bolt with anti seize call it a day.
When i was swapping my fronts out i broke a bolt due to being in a hurry and not heating it. Turned out i got lucky, i was able to cut the bolt near the threaded section but not close enough that i couldnt grab the piece left in there with vice grips. Once i cut the bolt, i pulled the LCA out, heated the threads of the broken piece with a propane torch, grabbed onto the broken piece with vice grips and it came right out.

BTW i wasnt too concerned with damaging the LCA because i had picked up another set at the junkyard to put new bushings in.
EDIT***
lol i saw this post after i already posted mine, but this is exactly what i did.
