Default anyone have a HOW TO for jdm vtec solenoid wiring?

I've been searching up and I know when you're using the jdm vtec solenoid with a usdm ecu you need to run a wire from A4 to D6. But my question is do you leave both wires connected in their pins and simply run a wire connecting the two? Or do you run both wires into one pin? Just want to make sure so I don't screw anything up...if anyone has a picture thread on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Thanks for the help man. But now I would like to know what you do with the ground wire coming from the vtec pressure switch? I have it grounded but its connected to the pressure switch, which is not being used. Am I good to go?

just run to any clean metal area and your good to go or you can tap it into one of the ground wire's in the engine harness or pin it . Any one of them will work .

I have it grounded, but its pretty much grounding a switch that isn't being used..is that fine?

I know this thread has been solved for one however I'm using a jdm obd2a gsr swap in a 00 civic si running the si ecu. Is this wiring trick necessary for my setup or no? I'm still trying to figure the Iab situation out as the obd2 gsr motors work on vacumn and not wiring so I'm hoping after this ckf trick I finally get vtec....any info would be appreciated.

yes, you will need to perform this VTPS bypass trick being that JDM OBD2 engines do not have a VTPS. Or you can swap your '00 civic Si's complete VTEC solenoid over to the JDM GSR engine and leave your wiring alone. Once you do either of these methods VTEC should kick on providing you performed the CKF bypass trick as well.
