Default vtec wiring

can anyone show me a diagram or explain which of the 3 vtec wires,red,black,blue i believe...which wire plugs up to which connector next to the distributor?thanks

well those wires are close, but not close enough. if you have a meter then you can use it to ohm those wires and use it.
vtec soleniod = grn/yel = a4 at the ecu
vtec pressure switch = blu/blk = d6 at the ecu. the blk will go to ground.

if your motor does not have a pressure switch, you can run the ecu wire for the switch to a ground. Just FYI.

It is better to get a pressure switch in the long term, but this will get VTEC working. Quite a few newer JDM motors didn't come from the factory w/ a pressure switch for whatever reason.
