po6 ecu question

Default po6 ecu question

looking at a hatch with the jdm d15b vtec. the guy said it's chipped with a po6 ecu. now i thought i read somewhere that these are non vtec chips? i don't know much about these so any info would be appreciated.. thanks

Yes, the P06 is from a D15B7 engine and it is non-VTEC. According to this website: http://www.wickedinnovation.net/prod...Socketing.html you can modify the ECU to support VTEC.

i see. he said its chipped to run at 5200 i think vtec and 8600 rev limiter, does this sound okay?
