The Ls is a b18a1 block with b1 head..i have tha tranny and cylinder head ground..
Im using a dizzy that jus got pulled of a working car..
Main relay clicks..fuel pump primes
fuses are good under dash and under hood..
I been searching for info but none so far seemed to apply to my car..ugh plz help gotta get started today

my guy is going thru the same thing on his b18a1 he is not getting no spark..

 

Yes i had a d15b in there b4 and never had any issues with it

 

Is there battery voltage on the Blk/Yel wire attached to the igniter with the key turned to ON(II). Does the CEL remain ON?

 

Cel remains on yes..

 

Check for battery voltage at the dizzy. Does the CEL also remain ON steady (no code blinks) with the service connector jumped?

 

im goin bak to tha car now..but im not gunna b interet accessible..so can u gimme a preview of wat i need to do if i do or dont get voltage from tha dizzy/?

 

If you have power at the dizzy but still no spark, you may have a bad ignitor. If you have any spare b-series dizzys laying around, swap out the ignitors and try again.

 

mtha dizzy on there jus got takin off a working car tho

 

If you don't have power at the dizzy, then check for blown fuses, a broken Blk/Yel wire, or a bad ignition switch.

If you have power at the dizzy, then check the Yel/Grn wire that goes between the igniter and ECU for continuity. If the wire is fine, then the ECU may be bad.
