This problem comes out goes; the clutch pedal wont feel the same. It feels normal most the time but other times maybe for a few miles it, the pedal will feel softer. The only other way I can describe the feeling is it feels more like a cable and not a hydraulic.

your problem is not the clutch really is the pressure plate wich is what will give it the hard and soft feeling at times. 70k miles on that clutch is a lot specially when boosted.
Get a competition clutch kit ,Inline pro has a speciall going on on the competition clutch kit.

the master cylinder on these cars likes to start leaking sometimes too. Check and make sure u have enough fluid in there maybe its time for a fluch i had the same problem as you and it was cause i was low on fluid.

 

go threw clutchnet.com for the clutch stuff and ebay for the fidanza flywheel if you choose

 

check with inlinepro and see if they still have the competition clutch special, clutch and flywheel for $700, pretty good deal.

on a different note, if the pedal feels weird get a friend to help you gravity bleed it. if it's still funky you may need to adjust the clutch pedal and take a little slack out, we had to do that on my buddy's S2 with a clutchmasters stage 3.

 

i already ordered a new clutch that will be here next week and then getting it put in a week after.

 

might as well get a new clutch master cylinder, i installed quite a few in my shop right around the 100k miles mark.

Since you have replaced you CMC recently, are you sure it's not just air in the lines? Have you tried bleeding it?

 

I'm just getting a new clutch, Im still on an OEM clutch and I want more boost.
