ek swap to ctr motor??

Default ek swap to ctr motor??

im about to purchase a 93 civic and wanting to do a motor swap.. passwordjdm has the ctr engine for around 4700 i want somethin rather quick but also easy on the wallet what would be the best bet for a swap?? thanks

My gsr swap was done for under 3 grand total lol... 4700 is very steep for a b16b

yeah i know..and 3 grand is cheaper and more in my range.. was the swap itself easy?

what are u lookin to get out of the motor? the b16b is nice, however you will have a bit more torque stock going with the b18c or even a gsr. are you lookin to go NA or forced induction eventually??

na at first then eventually upgrage to a turbo setup i have a 00 si now but am sellin to get an suv and im buyin this car as a project

if youre running NA for a while, then look into maybe a GSR swap, or even ITR if your budget allows. if you want a good torquey motor for turbo, a b20 with low comp pistons would be nice. depends on what you want really. check out the swap info in the FAQ too for some more insight

if you plan on going boost i would do the gsr there cheap and can handle boost
