Gsr turbo 13lbs of boost...will a felpro head gasket work? Is there big NO on these?

oem blew on me in the first 5 miles at .4 lbs of boost

OEM 3 layer? there was definately something wrong... i have been running mine on 10psi for 6k now no problems. was it new?

most people stick to OEM more than people think...do u have stock head bolts or do u have after market head studs? u should buy an OEM headgasket and buy some arp head studs...

arp head studs, 3 layer, new, i did 65lbs of torqe...il try 80lbs this time

you torqued the nuts to 65? they are supposed to be 80.... probably a reason it blew.

did u not read the instructions on how tight they are suppose to go that come with the studs?

i didnt get a paper like people are saying jsut the studs and lube. so i had to look online and i saw 60-67lbs so i set it at 65. 80 then right?

Screw the OEM headgaskets, go with a Cometic one bored to the right size. Yeah, also srsly torque them correctly.
