I have a 98 v6 sedan. Pushing bout 115000 on the j30a1. I changed my oil and than less than 2500 the yellow light came on. I checked the oil and it was pitch black. Now. I used 5w30. I live in la and its been relatively hot here. And i drive alot. Sometimes i push up to 500 miles a week. And i am pretty much push her all the time. Any suggestions, comments, critiques,?? Thanks in advance guys..

 

seems normal, every 3k is the maintenance schedule, and at about 3k, oil turns pretty dark already. 2.5k seems okay with dark oil.
